We have chosen Sydney Wade as she has the look of what we thought as a group Katie Lawson should look like. The characters she has played in recent TV shows, such as Sherlock and Doctor Who have been quite innocent, quiet characters and that is the type of character that Katie Lawson is.
Amy West-Elle Fanning
We decided that Elle Fanning would be a good choice for the character of Amy West. She is 14 years old, but looks young enough to play 13 year old Amy. Elle played 'Ginger' in the independent film Ginger and Rosa(2012), this character was strong minded girl who knew what she wanted in life, this is very similar our character Amy West so we feel Elle Fanning would be ideal for this as we know she can portray this type of character well.

Tom West-Alexander Ludwig
Alexander Ludwig is a young actor who is relatively unknown but has recently starred in The Hunger Games(2012) so he would have the possibility of attracting a younger audience.His young teenage boy look is ideal for the character of Tom West
Amanda Abbington is not a hugely well known actress but has starred in TV programmes and films such as After You've Gone(2007) ,Ghosted(2011) and more recently, Mr Selfridge(2013). From this we can see that she is able to play a diverse range of characters. So would therefore be able to play a troubled character like Lauren Lawson.
Paul Lawson-Mark Sheppard
Mark Sheppard has starred in many different TV shows over the years and has played many different characters. As he has a lot of acting experience we feel that he would be able to play the kind hearted but stressed out character of Paul Lawson. Mark has the right look for Paul as he looks old enough to be a father and also has dark hair, as we imagined Paul Lawson would.
Karen West-Alex Kingston
Alex Kingston is probably best known for her role in Doctor Who.Even though Doctor Who is quite a popular TV programme, she is still not hugely famous. As Doctor Who is a popular show within Britain, casting her would help attract a British audience. She has played a mother in the TV programme Merchlands(2011), so we know she would be able to portray Karen West well.
Matthew West-Rupert Graves
Rupert Graves has also starred in many different Films and Television programmes over the years so would also have a lot of acting experience and would have played many different characters. Rupert Graves also has the exact look we wanted for the character Matthew West.
All of the actors and actresses we have chosen to hypothetically star in our film are all actors that are not hugely well known. We have done this as we are an Independent company who does not have the money or resources to cast someone who is extremely famous and popular within the film world.
